Tourism students meeting with employers of their
future work filed for talking about their future.
The first
year of the Tourism studies (Grado en Turismo) of the University of Alicante is
organizing an exchange meeting between students and experts of the tourism
industry. Based on the crisis which is a recent and very important topic in
Spain at the moment, which outcomes are the rise of youth unemployment, this
event is offering the first time in Alicante the opportunity of an exchange and
interaction of students of the UA and the center of tourism development (Centro
de Desarollo Turístico de Alicante CDT) with different representors of the
tourist industry. Moreover, the event allows that the future graduates get to
know the expectations of the future employers, the job profiles they ask for
and it gives the graduates the opportunity to present themselves, with their skills
they have to offer for the different companies and institutions and might
support them with their knowledge.
In this
meeting is going to be discussed: What are the strength of development of the
tourism industry, the uprising health tourism of the province, the gastronomy
and so forth.
The
rehearsal is going to happen in the Center of tourism of the UA are also
preparing lunch for the referents of the companies. The first speech of the
inaugural is going to take over Daniel Marco the regional secretary of commerce
and tourism of the Generalitat Valenciana. In conclusion, there will be an
evaluation where students can evaluate the event.
